MP3 player update

I know you are all on the edge of your seats waiting to hear what happened, so here goes.

I had to threaten to sue them in Small Claims Court. Once I did that, they tried to call my bluff by saying that since I threaten legal action they were no longer allowed to deal with me. I called her bluff by asking for the phone number to the legal department. After she stammered for a minute, she put me on hold. A few minutes later she came back with the number.

I called the legal department and left a voice mail explaining the problem and asking for the address to have the papers served to. (I had called small claims court and was told that 1) yes, I had a case that was perfect for small claims court and 2)I could have them served by registered mail since they are in Oklahoma.)

An hour or so later I got a call from a very, very nice guy who said the woman from the legal department called him and asked him to personally take care of it.

They have no idea what is wrong, but suspect that it might be the power adapter.

Once we send his MP3 player back, they will send us a new power adapter and a new player. He gave Christian the option of having the same player that he has now, or the new one with a bigger screen. He is getting the new one. Once we have it, I am to call with the serial # for the 2 year extended service plan. Hopefully, we won't need it.

Oh I know. Isn't it insane what you have to go through to get something fixed?

They weren't even returning my calls until I threatened to take them to court. Now we are best friends. lol
